Courteney B.

This is Courteney, I saw her at school one day hula hooping outside. She was playing The Beatles loudly over her car stereo, and I just had to go talk to her.

Then, over the weekend I just happen to run into her at a show called Bass Cave!

Japanese Lantern Festival

Japanese Lantern Festival at the Missouri Botanical Garden

Shroomie!

I have an eye for nature! Photographing the small parts of nature has always been a thing of mine. I like to roll all over the ground, getting as close as I can to the Earth, trying to get the best shots as possible.

South Carolina

Here are a few snap shots from my family vacation to South Carolina!

Only Half.

Seeing this flower only half open brought me to the flower. I was just walking back to my truck after class and saw a whole patch of these flowers, but this particular one was the most interesting to me.

Graffiti

"The whole world owes me nothing... We owe each other the world"

This is some very powerful graffiti on a giant trash box in St. Louis. I was going to Life In Color with my friends Daniel and Tina! We got a little lost while looking for a parking spot. I saw this down a sort of alley, the skechtiness of the location really drew me to the trash box when I saw the message someone had left.

Plantation House (Color)

This is the plantation house in full color!

Punkin Blooms!

This is a bloom from a pumpkin plant we have growing in our front yard by our pond! We never planted any pumpkin seeds, we just threw out last years pumpkins and they planted themselves and took off! We have got 4 cute little baby pumpkins, feet upon feet of vines and multiple blooms!

First Broken Bone!

Well y'all, we have our first broken bone in our family! Lily broke both her radius and ulna in her forearm, she has 2 metal pins in her bones now! Unfortunately, she will have to have another surgery in 3-6 months to remove the pins. She has been so tough and brave throughout this whole thing! I'm very proud of her for being so strong! She had a craving for a big ole greasy burger from McDonald's yesterday, so we just had to take a selfie!

New Artist: Harry Callahan (1912-1999)

Since our assignment coming up is about light and form I have chosen a piece by photographer Harry Callahan!

Callahan’s central model and muse was his wife Eleanor Callahan, and after her birth in 1950, his daughter Barbara.
