I'd like for everyone to meet my amazing, smart, talented, and beautiful sister! 

This is my sis, Lily! She is 12 and is very special. Lily has a pacemaker, she has had it since she was only 5 years old. Lily plays on a kick-butt softball team called The Crushers, she is a pitcher! Lily is also very good at drawing, she likes to draw people and characters! 

This young lady right here is the strongest and bravest person I know! I love her to the moon and back.

New Artist: Dorothea Lange

This amazing photo was taken by Dorothea Lange during the Great Depression in North Carolina, 1939.

 During the Great Depression, Dorothea Lange photographed the unemployed men who wandered the streets. Her photographs of migrant workers were often presented with captions featuring the words of the workers themselves. Lange’s first exhibition, held in 1934, established her reputation as a skilled documentary photographer. In 1940, she became the first woman to receive the Guggenheim Fellowship.
